This website is launched with the aim of sharing information regarding hip pathologies and other orthopaedic problems with patients and other healthcare provider. Hip pathologies ranges from pain and discomfort in groin region in young adults who are involved in sports activities, hiking, mountaineering to pain and stiffness in hip and groin in adult because of arthritis or trauma.
In certain individual the pathology is from childhood or birth which is often referred to as developmental dysplasia of hip(DDH). Some of these problems resort to simple medication, physiotherapy or lifestyle modification. However certain pathologies need surgical intervention of varied type like X-ray/USG guided injection, key hole(arthroscopy) surgeries for hip, osteotomies around the hip and hip replacement surgery.
